The elders from the first generation were sometimes called 'the gods' tears'. To this day, no one knows who or what pulled human beings to Yanis. Their origins remain a mystery. What is known about humans is that they're very resourceful. They have shorter lifespans than most other humanoid species on Yanis and maximize their time alive as a result. Humans are typically skilled in crafts, combat, or both. --- ### Appearance & Biology Humans have a wide range of races and appearances based on their heritage and country of origin. Some humans have dark skin while others have lighter skin. Though their height and stature ranges, most human adventurers are between 4 and 6 feet tall (though, some exceptions exist). Humans have lived on Yanis for over 3,000 years and in present day, their appearance has shifted gradually from the typical humans you'd see on other worlds. Some humans have developed strange coloring in their hair or eyes. Others a natural affinity with magic. Regardless of their appearance, humans can reproduce with most other humanoids.
