Thus, they have adapted to being more savage out of necessity. They are not necessarily savage by nature. ### Origin & History Like djinn, it is believed that goliaths are descendants of mæggen as well; but, they seem to be much further removed from mæggen than djinn. They emerged much later as a modern half-giant and descend directly from the warrior giants who clashed with dragons at the turn of Yanis civilization. Today, goliaths are prominent but mostly stick to living amongst their own kind. --- ### Appearance & Biology Tall, naturally muscular, and born with rune-like markings, goliaths are very similar to djinn but generations of war with dragon-kind has turned goliath into natural fighters. They excel at physical combat, hunting, and tracking. Goliaths tend to have less cool hues in their skin than djinn or firbolg—leaning to a more neutral or dark slate gray color. They do, however, share similar ear structure to their djinn cousins.
