While you touch one stone, you can use an action to cast the sending spell from it, targeting the bearer of the other stone. If no creature bears the other stone, you know that fact as soon as you use the stone and the spell isn't cast. Once the sending spell is cast through the stones, neither stone can be used again until the next dawn. If one stone in a pair is destroyed, the other becomes nonmagical. --- ## Properties - Paired stones; action to cast ***sending*** targeting the bearer of the partner stone. - **Once per dawn** — both stones go inert after one sending. - If one stone is **destroyed**, the other becomes nonmagical. - No attunement required.
