While holding this shard, when you use a Metamagic option on a spell you cast, you can change the damage type of the spell to necrotic, poison, or cold (your choice). Once this property of the shard is used, it can't be used again until the next dawn. --- ## Properties - Once per dawn: when using a **Metamagic option**, change the spell's damage type to **necrotic, poison, or cold**. - Can be used as a **spellcasting focus** while held. - Requires attunement by a **sorcerer**.
