The target must have 100 hit points or fewer; if the target has more hit points, the spell has no effect. While the target is affected by this spell, any speed it has can be no more than 10 feet. The target also has disadvantage on attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws, other than Constitution saving throws. Finally, if the target tries to cast a spell, it must first succeed on a Constitution saving throw with a DC equal to 10 + the spell's level or the casting fails and the spell is wasted. A target that fails its saving throw can repeat it at the end of each of its turns, ending the spell early on a success. --- ## At Higher Levels This spell does not have an upcast effect.
