## Description
When you cast this spell, you inscribe a harmful glyph either on a surface (such as a section of floor, a wall, or a table) or within an object that can be closed to conceal the glyph (such as a book, a scroll, or a treasure chest). The glyph can cover an area no larger than 10 feet in diameter. The glyph is nearly invisible, requiring an Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC to find it. The glyph triggers when a creature moves within 5 feet of it. You can refine the trigger so the spell activates only under certain circumstances or according to physical characteristics. You can also set conditions for creatures that don't trigger the glyph, such as those who say a certain password. Choose one of the following symbols:
**Death** — Each target must make a Con save. On a failed save, target drops to 0 hp. On a success, takes 10d10 necrotic damage.
**Discord** — Each target must make a Con save or bicker and argue with others for 1 minute.
**Fear** — Each target must make a Wisdom save or become frightened for 1 minute.
**Hopelessness** — Each target must make a Charisma save or be overwhelmed with despair for 1 minute.
**Insanity** — Each target must make an Int save or be driven insane for 1 minute.
**Pain** — Each target must make a Con save or become incapacitated for 1 minute.
**Sleep** — Each target must make a Wisdom save or fall unconscious for 10 minutes.
**Stunning** — Each target must make a Wisdom save or become stunned for 1 minute.
